Our mission is
to provide a Catholic-centered education consistent with the
educational mission of the Church. We emphasize teaching basic
skills through a blend of traditional and current teaching
methods and the use of technology. A caring faculty and
supportive parents and parishioners foster the spiritual,
intellectual, and emotional growth of the whole child.
How
about our program?
St. Theresa School is continually
updating materials in all curriculum areas. Each year, our
fundraisers focus on a particular curriculum area. We follow a five
year cycle: Year One: Science; Year Two: Social Studies; Year Three:
Language Arts; Year Four: Technology; Year Five: Mathematics. This
helps to ensure that our materials are current.
In addition to our networked classroom computers, we also have a
computer lab. Compass Learning Odyssey, a web-based instructional
technology solution which incorporates current pedagogy in
assessment and instruction, is utilized by all students. Students
and teachers also make use of our five interactive whiteboards.
